Clinicians
Each member of the medical team works together to bring the patient the highest level of care possible. At Arizona Pain Specialists, you will be greeted by a Medical Assistant, who will gather critical medical information such as your pulse, temperature, medications you are on and any medical concerns you may have. The Medical Assistant will pass this information on to your Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. You will then be able to speak with and be evaluated by your Physician’s Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner. They will consult with you on your specific pain condition, perform a physical examination, gather additional medical information, educate you on your diagnosis and treatment options, and answer any questions you may have. They will then consult with your physician and relay information necessary for the physician to evaluate your personal medical case. The physician reviews, oversees and approves your individualized treatment plan to be carried out during future office visits. If you are a candidate for a procedure, the physician will perform that procedure in our in-house procedure center. Depending on the office you visit, you may be treated by an M.D. or a D.O. Every physician at Arizona Pain Specialists adheres to the highest of standards; each is fellowship trained and double board certified.
A successful medical team often works as though in a relay race; passing crucial information on to the next team member. By utilizing the medical expertise of multiple individuals, you can receive the highest level of care possible.
