Patrick W. Hogan, D.O.
Dr. Patrick Hogan is an Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Physician who became interested in the field of pain medicine while completing a clinical rotation in the Comprehensive Pain Management Center at The Cleveland Clinic. He was able to witness first-hand how modern technology, cutting-edge research, education, and a multi-disciplinary approach can be used to improve patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Hogan’s recent training experience and background in anesthesiology and pain medicine provides him with the skills necessary to provide the highest quality pain management care in Arizona. Dr. Patrick Hogan is fellowship-trained and board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He completed his training at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, a hospital that is consistently ranked in the Top 4 hospitals in the United States by U.S. News and World Report. His pain management training included mentoring by several world-famous pain physicians such as Michael Stanton-Hicks, MD, Leonardo Kapural, MD, and Nagy Mekhail, MD, PhD.
Dr. Patrick Hogan was selected to serve as the Chief Fellow during his Pain Medicine fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic. The physicians and staff of Arizona Pain Specialists are not only involved in direct patient care, but we are also committed to research and education. Arizona Pain Specialists is leading numerous active research studies in the field of pain management, and Dr. Hogan is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. As a medical student, Dr. Hogan was selected to complete a summer research fellowship at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He assisted with clinical and laboratory research, and developed skills that helped him to become a published author in Anesthesia and Analgesia, one of the premier medical journals for the field of anesthesiology.
Dr. Patrick Hogan is a perfect complement to the multi-disciplinary patient-centered approach found at Arizona Pain Specialists, the “Pain Relief Experts.” Dr Hogan is a great asset to our growing team and is available for patient consultations Monday through Friday at the West Valley location (18555 N. 79th Ave, Suite 101, Glendale, AZ).
