Meet Vaughn Howe
A physician’s assistant (P.A.) plays a vital role at Arizona Pain Specialists. Working closely with physicians, the P.A. is a licensed healthcare professional. They have been trained and have received a bachelor’s degree as well as a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science. They obtain a license at the state level before they are capable of practicing medicine. A P.A. is an integral part of the medical team, as they are able to perform examinations, write prescriptions, form diagnoses, educate the patient, and assist the physician with any medical needs the patient may have. At Arizona Pain Specialists, you may be evaluated by a qualified P.A.
