Dr. Dan Froerer practices with Arizona Pain Specialists in their Chandler office.
Dr. Froerer is a board-certified chiropractic physician. He graduated from Utah Valley University as well as Southern California University of Health Sciences. Dr. Froerer has practiced in California and Arizona and is licensed by the Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He holds board-certified specialties in both physiotherapy and medical acupuncture. Dr. Froerer is a fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (IAMA).
Dr. Froerer also has extensive training in active release technique (ART). ART is a soft tissue movement-based technique that is extremely effective for accurately defining the diagnosis of and effectively treating repetitive strain injuries and strain/sprain type injuries. This technique is only performed by licensed medical professionals who have completed the post-graduate training courses and passed rigorous written and practical examinations. ART is very effective for the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, hand conditions (such as numbness or tingling), sciatic nerve issues, sprains or strains of the neck, low back pain conditions, shin splints, and many foot conditions. To show his dedication to this technique, Dr. Froerer participated as part of the ART treatment team for the 2010 Tempe Ironman race.
Additionally, Dr. Froerer has experience treating athletes at all levels with biomechanical dysfunctions. He is a Titleist Performance Institute provider. The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world’s leading educational organization and research facility dedicated to the study of how the human body functions relative to the golf swing. TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect their golf swing and potentially lead to injury.
Dr. Froerer is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He is skilled in spinal and extremity manipulation, which he employs in conjunction with acupuncture, gua sha, ART, spinal decompression, kinesiotape, and nutrition. In all treatment plans, Dr. Froerer believes in addressing the root cause of a patients’ pain and dysfunction.
At his core, Dr. Froerer is a family man with strong faith. As a young man, he earned the Boy Scouts of Americas highest award of Eagle Scout. This taught him core values and laid the foundation for him to pursue a profession to serve his fellow man. Pain robs people of time with family and overall quality of life. Dr. Froerer wants to be part of the solution to help pain patients take back control over their day-to-day lives and overall quality of life.
