A friend recommended Dr. David Meyers at AZ Pain Clinic to help treat my spinal stenosis and alleviate the tremendous pain I was experiencing. I had plans to travel out of the country and feared I wouldn't be able to travel with pain and limited mobility. Dr Meyers made it possible to expedite my treatments so I could receive several procedures to prepare me and allow for comfort during my travels. He offered advice and suggestions for aides to purchase that could provide pain relief and ease my mobility while touring. I appreciate his knowledge, great bedside manner and ease of getting my questions answered. He truly invests in his patients to bring them comfort and improve their quality of life.

I was never a believer in pain management doctors. They did not exist when I was younger. I had a very bad taste in my mouth due to an experience that my sister had with a pain management doctor and she’s no longer with us. However, I could only put up with the pain on my left side for so long, and I decided to go to Arizona Pain. I always thought they were injection happy. The first thing out of PA Kita, was “Well, let’s do an x-ray and an MRI to rule out anything that might be pre-existing and I knew instantly that I was right where I needed to be. I have two exploratory injections and did get some relief before I had an injection right into my SI joint and now I am 99.9% pain-free. I would recommend Keata and Dr. Ray, who was so incredibly polite, gentle, and kind to anybody who’s considering a pain management doctor!!!! Thank you, Kita and Dr. Ray!! I have my life back!!!

First I want to say that I was so debilitated by sciatic nerve pain that I was sure there would be NO resolution. As an elderly lady, I did not want to be on any kind of pain medication (especially opioids), and face further risk of falling. My pain was nearly always at a 10+ and I was limited in my usual social activities. My primary care doctor recommended AZ Pain and although I was concerned that they’d just try to “push pain meds”, I was SO wrong. In fact that was never even suggested. I went to the AZ Pain office on Warner Road in Chandler AZ and between Keata and Dr Christopher Ray we decided to have the MILD procedure done. I can’t say enough about these two incredible health care professionals. Their concern, compassion and care made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but family. In fact at the surgery center where the procedure was performed, the entire staff was the same way. I wish I could remember all of their names, but special thanks to Michael, who is a magician when it comes to getting an IV in tiny old veins with no problem at all!
