Dr. Jason jensen
Interventional Pain Physician
Dr. Jensen was born and raised in Salt Lake City. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Sports Medicine. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at The Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center In Hershey Pennsylvania. He is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Jensen practiced in the East Valley for over 10 years and is the former Medical Director for Recovia’s Chronic Pain Functional Rehabilitation Program.
Dr. Jensen and his family moved from San Antonio Texas, where he spent a year practicing Interventional Pain Management. He understands that each patient’s condition is unique and pain occurs for numerous reasons. His primary focus is to help patients enjoy a more comfortable life through the latest techniques and treatments. Dr. Jensen’s focus is not limited to the spine; he is well versed in treating conditions such as hip, knee, shoulder and extremity pain. He has an interest in treating patients with regenerative medicine, which is a new field of study that treats injuries and diseases by harnessing the body’s own healing capabilities.
Dr. Jensen loves going to baseball games with his 14 year-old twins and is a die hard Boston Red Sox fan. When he is not at the clinic, he enjoys working out and traveling with his wife of 24 years.
