In addition to being a festive holiday favorite, the cranberry give you an internal boost too. Mixed into a drink, their juice will provide your body with a powerful boost of antioxidants, while also helping the liver to eliminate alcohol from the bloodstream.

Join in on that holiday cheer, with a cranberry beverage (or two!), and make a toast to your health!

Non-Alcoholic Mulled Cranberry Juice Spritzer (Serves 4-6)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 32-ounce bottle cranberry juice
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 8-10 whole cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cardamon pod
  • ½ vanilla bean, with the seeds scraped out
  • Ice
  • Club soda

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients except for the ice and club soda, in a large saucepan set over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to medium-low. Continue to simmer for approximately 15 minutes. Strain to remove the thyme, cinnamon sticks, cloves, anise, cardamon, and vanilla bean.
  2. Serve the cranberry mixture warm, on its own, or allow to cool and serve over ice with a splash of club soda.
