Thank heavens! The weather has cooled and we are finally able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings we live in without worrying about dehydration. Cooler weather often means increased activity. More folks will be hitting the links, riding their bikes, taking walks and spending time outside doing whatever it is they love. With cooler climates can come increased pain. If you suffer from arthritis or other joint pain, it may be aggravated by both cool weather and increased activity. If you feel more pain than usual, take the time to rest, apply ice and heat, consider an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory and make an appointment to visit one of our specialists. We can make sure your achy joints are nothing more than the bittersweet welcome of Fall.

This month’s issue of Arizona Pain Monthly is dedicated to expectations. With the holidays approaching, we expect many great meals, time with friends and family and time to relax. You’ll find great autumnal recipes, a feature article on braces prescribed to help with pain, and information about ultrasound technology – one of the many we provide at Arizona Pain Specialists. We hope you are expecting the best this month too!

From our families to yours,
Dr. Paul Lynch and Dr. Tory McJunkin Arizona Pain Specialist Founders
